KCAL PRESENTS The Wizard of Oz

Your favorite small-town Old-Time Radio Theatre is back, with a very special presentation: a remake of the Lux Radio Theatre broadcast of the beloved M-G-M film, The Wizard of Oz! This full-cast dramatization includes many of the songs made famous in the film, plus all of the familiar characters. A top-notch cast of voice actors will keep you spellbound for the next hour (or so). Enjoy!

The original adaptation for radio was broadcast as an episode of the Lux Radio Theatre on December 25, 1950. Performed live at the KCAL Hometown Theatre on July 20, 2025. This KCAL adaptation featured:
