BEWITCHED (HORROR) Prudence Rutledge is terrified. She sits in her isolated New England farmhouse, fearing that her husband is stepping out on her.  Seems like Saul has been seen down at the pond, meeting up with a young woman named Ora Brand.Trouble is: Ora Brand has been dead for over a year.

In her short story Bewitched, Edith Wharton lures you into the ghostly heart of New England, circa 1926. It’s a time when ghosts roam the barren hills, and horror stalks the lonely inhabitants with devastating results. This new adaptation of Bewitched is underscored with music and sound effects that plunge you deeper into those bewitched, New England souls.

EVERY NOW AND THEN (SUSPENSE) Well hidden among the trees along the tranquil waters of Lake Waseosa sits the Dark of the Moon Inn, an unsettling 19th century bed and breakfast where unsuspecting guests attempt to unwind from the trials and tribulations of everyday life. Instead, they find themselves veering towards that place where wandering minds cross into the darker and stormier depths of the all-encompassing nighttime.

From award-winning writer/director/producer George Zarr (Little Chills – National Public Radio, Tales from the Crypt – SYFI Channel’s “Seeing Ear Theatre”) comes a five-story anthology of suspense and mystery. Each tale features a full cast, engaging sound effects and original music.

THIS EPISODE: A sunny day, a quaint antique store, browsing through the artifacts of the past. To some, these are the ingredients for a pleasantly-spent afternoon. To Frank, it is the beginning of a journey that will tear his world inside out. Is his amusing and puzzling journey down memory lane an actual journey? Or a careening descent into madness?

THE BODY SNATCHER (HORROR) Body snatching, murder – and ghostly retribution! These are the ingredients of one of the greatest horror stories ever written. This new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale is made even more terrifying with music and sound effects…

A young medical student named Fettes is assisting his professor in procuring cadavers to be dissected by his fellow students. He knows many of the bodies that are sold to him were stolen from graves – but he needs his job, and keeps his silence.

To remain silent is to invite worse trouble. Late one night there is a knock at the door and another cadaver is delivered to Fettes. This one he recognizes – it’s Jane Galbraith, a woman Fettes had seen alive and well only a day before. Suspecting that Galbraith was a victim of foul play, Fettes confronts his colleague, who warns him to continue keeping silent. Once again Fettes obeys – and finds himself drawn inexorably deeper and deeper into a sinister swamp of deceit, lies and murder.

Performed by British voice actor David Ault. Adapted for audio by Dave Carley.

THE GEMINUS CONSPIRACY (SCI-FI / MYSTERY) This first installment of the Cliff Weller Mystery series, “The Geminus Conspiracy”, opens with down-on-his-luck Cliff Weller drinking his blues away at Nicky Congo’s Bar. But the gearshift of his luck slams into fast forward when a baffling but attractive woman seeks his help in locating a runaway teenager. Maybe it was the wad of cash she flashed or the scent of her perfume, either way, much to Cliff’s better judgment he was compelled to take on the case. But of course not all is what it seems to be. Through his investigation Cliff uncovers the Geminus Corporation a sinister organization involved in clandestine genetic experiments. He also discovers that the Corporation, the woman, the runaway and a homeless man (who seems to have returned from the dead) have a shadowy connection. Then there’s that abandoned warehouse on the edge of the city, the one with the eerie inexplicable lights. Is it really haunted as the locals say or is there something else going on there?

This supernatural Sci-fi tale features a Full Cast, engaging sound effects and music. Featuring British voice actor David Ault as Cliff Weller.
